Februari 2024
Co-founders Marit and Kasper started their remote work journey, by moving to Spain
At this time, they didn't know how to easily meet other nomads and struggled with loneliness and missing their friends
April 2024
Kasper and Marit started to think about creating a solution for loneliness amongst nomads and the idea for Remotr was born
As community apps are rising, they searched for apps specifically designed for digital nomads, but everything they could find was focussed on solo travelers
December 2024
After spending hours and hours building the app, Kasper launched the first version.
A lot of brainstorm sessions, looking into other apps and working a lot of hours building the app. Kasper was happy with the first product.
Today
Local digital nomad and expats communities across Europe are partnering up with Remotr. The goal is eventually expend to the rest of the world. Making Remotr THE community app for digital nomads, expats an remote workers.
