Setting Up Your Stripe Account for Event Payments

To ensure you receive payments for your events, Remotr integrates with Stripe as the payment processor. All payments are securely handled by Stripe, and once your account is set up, you should begin seeing funds in your Stripe account quickly.

How to Connect Your Stripe Account

Linking your Remotr account to Stripe is simple. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Navigate to your Payment Profile & Stripe
  2. Select your country of business and click create New or Connect existing
  3. You’ll be walked through the process of either creating a new Stripe account or connecting an existing one

Once connected, you’re all set to start accepting payments for your events this takes about 5 minutes.

Accessing Your Stripe Payouts

To view your payouts and bank details, you can easily access your Stripe Dashboard directly from Remotr. Here’s how:

  1. In your Remotr Dashboard, go to the Payments section
  2. Click on “Open Stripe” to be redirected to your Stripe account
  3. Within Stripe, you can manage your bank details and check the list of all payouts

You can also find your Stripe Account ID by clicking on the three dots in the top-right corner of your Stripe Dashboard, then selecting “Stripe Account ID”.

Tracking Payments in Stripe

Each time a payment is made through Remotr, you can easily view the corresponding transaction in Stripe:

  1. Go to the Payments tab in your Event Dashboard
  2. Scroll to the Sales History section
  3. For each transaction, you’ll see a link to open the payment details directly in Stripe

This way, you can monitor all payments for your event in one place.

Products and Tax Information in Stripe

Remotr does not automatically create Stripe Products for events or ticket sales, nor do we utilize Stripe's tax feature. As a result, you won’t see tax-related information in your Stripe account.
